Coverage

The collection contains 2,211 kanji: every character with a level in Jonathan Waller’s JLPT lists.

  • N579 kanji
  • N4166 kanji
  • N3367 kanji
  • N2367 kanji
  • N11,232 kanji

2,012 entries have example words from JMdict’s common-word edition; the other 199 appear in no common word there, so their pages show none rather than inventing any.

The JLPT has not published official kanji lists since the test was revised in 2010. The levels here are a widely used community estimate.
